Luxury beachfront villa on the island Corfu
A luxury sea-front villa built on a plot of land of 8-acres located on the North east coast of Corfu Island.
The villa offers south-facing and commanding inspiring views over the sea, with tantalizing glimpses of the mainland and the other Ionian Islands.
Designed with strong influences of the area architecture, the residence has pink stone used to great effect throughout, echoed by the old Corfiot roof tiles that finish off the walls.
The villa is entered through ancient gates that were brought from Jaipur, the pink city of India, and are a fitting complement to the rosy-faced stone that appears throughout the property. The pink stone path that leads to the house continues down the shelving slope, and gradually gives way to the rock terraces that slide into the sea, shaped into smooth surfaces for lounging in the sun. Swimming from the rocks gives easy access to deep and always refreshing water while a ladder into the sea is thoughtfully provided for those who prefer a gradual descent into the water.
The house embodies many of the influences of contemporary semi-tropical living: low-lying, discreetly part of its surroundings, with walls of glass that slide back to merge indoor and outdoor living.
Everything is designed to enable the visitor to relax completely, with no distraction from the business of pleasure.
A formal garden terrace, planted with lawns and trees of several varieties, punctuated with ornamental water features, stretches to a superb viewpoint where a pergola-shaded sitting area affords a perfect spot for nothing more strenuous than contemplation. Elsewhere, several seating areas and outdoor dining arrangements, take full advantage of the space and views.
The house is supplied with a cook who will provide breakfast and lunch or dinner, 6 days a week and a housekeeper 6 days a week, 5 hrs a day.

Location:
The house is situated in Nissaki and is a 5 minute walk to Kaminaki and 15 minute coastal walk to Agni where there are 3 great restaurants to choose from. There are boats to hire and lots of water sports in Kaminaki.
Kassiopi village is a 20 minute drive away, a lively little resort village with a harbour, an interesting (and still visible) history, and lots of shops, bars and restaurants.
Corfu town and the airport is a 45-minute drive away.
